Excellent staff are professional, friendly and genuine. Comfortable beds, well-maintained rooms (clean, tidy). Convenient traveling to and from the city, local supermarket, cafes, etc within a 15-20 minute stroll. Particularly liked being close to the beach and public transport.

I have stayed here before, It has a very good location. It is close to Jackson St, the main shopping centre of Petone. There are two supermarkets Countdown and Pak N'Sav, Many places to eat in or get takeaways. It's on the Esplanade and just across from the beach and a park. Free car parking is provided. Free WiFi. Easy access to Wellington's motorway system. Happy to stay again,

83 by the sea is a convenient location for an overnight stay. Handy to Petony bars and restaurants. Free off street parking. And quick easy drive to catch an early ferry. Comfortable room with all the amenities.

Great location opposite the boardwalk and proximity to main street and eateries. Comfortable room with all we needed for an overnight stay. Easy to drive back to Wellington after turning around further down the road.

Room was very clean and very roomy. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice view of the sea from our room. Overall happy with our stay.

It was very clean, everything that was needed was there, not like a big flash hotel but definitely great value for money and really accomodating, let us check in early and really easy checkout for after hours checkout and also great parking

We booked online for 5 adults and it was suggested to book 2 rooms. Which was actually perfect for us! I thought both rooms were great value for money. It was a last minute booking too so we were lucky and grateful to get in there. Great location. Across the road from the beach. In walking distance to restaurants etc. Only 10 minute drive from where we had to go. Love that there was a kitchenette in there. Room was cosy. Comfy bed. Very much enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back if we're ever in town again.
